There are some things that we must pray our way through. Sometimes, we must fast. Others, we must simply obey God. And there are some things that require worship.
Sometimes we have to lift up our voices, our hands, our eyes, and our attitudes and focus on God. No request, not petition, no plea except to experience God’s presence. Some things must be surrendered and sealed with our worship. It is our act of faith, believing God will work it out. It is our attitude adjustment: committing ourselves to worrying, moping, and complaining no longer.
Sometimes we have to say like the psalmist, “I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” (Ps. 122:1). We don’t have to go to a particular building, just make wherever we are a sanctuary and worship. So whatever it is you are facing, don’t let it keep you down. Instead, let it take you up….to WORSHIP!
